Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Dance Teacher to inspire young children through movement, rhythm, and creativity. The Dance Teacher will design and conduct fun, age-appropriate dance classes for Nursery, KG, and Primary students, helping them develop physical coordination, confidence, self-expression, and a love for the arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging dance sessions for Nursery, KG, and Primary classes (ages 3–10).
- Teach a variety of dance styles suitable for young children including creative movement, folk, classical, contemporary, and fun rhythmic activities.
- Incorporate Montessori principles by encouraging free expression, coordination, and body awareness.
- Prepare students for school events, annual day, cultural programs, and performances.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment where every child feels confident to participate.
- Develop lesson plans that support physical development, rhythm, balance, teamwork, and creativity.
- Collaborate with class teachers for integration of dance with other subjects (e.g., music, language, festivals).
- Maintain discipline and ensure child safety during classes and rehearsals.
- Communicate progress and performance feedback to parents when required.
- Participate in school events and staff meetings.
Requirements
- Experience: teaching dance to young children (Nursery/Primary level preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Ability to handle large groups of young children with patience and enthusiasm.
- Strong choreography skills for school performances.
- Energetic, creative, and child-friendly personality.
- Knowledge of child safety and first-aid is an advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
