Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and data-driven Email Marketing Executive to plan, execute, and optimise email marketing campaigns that engage customers, generate leads, and drive conversions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, marketing automation tools, audience segmentation, and campaign analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, promotional emails, and automated email journeys.
- Develop compelling email copy and coordinate with design teams to create engaging email templates.
- Segment customer databases to deliver personalised and targeted campaigns.
- Manage email marketing platforms and marketing automation workflows.
- Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times to improve campaign performance.
- Maintain email database hygiene, ensuring compliance with data protection and anti-spam regulations.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and content teams to align email campaigns with business objectives.
- Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Stay up to date with email marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Brevo, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email templates is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with audience segmentation and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Knowledge of email deliverability and sender reputation best practices.
- Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking with a data-driven approach to optimisation.
