About the Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and proactive Social Media Intern to join our team at Inkcast Innovations. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident in front of the camera, has good communication skills, and is comfortable speaking and presenting on video. The intern will have the opportunity to work on real brand projects and gain practical experience in social media management and content creation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and managing content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Research social media trends, trending topics, reels, audio, and content formats.
- Assist in creating content ideas for posts, reels, stories, and campaigns.
- Write captions, short-form content, and basic social media copy.
- Coordinate with the Graphic Design and Video Editing teams for content execution.
- Assist during content shoots and help plan shoot requirements.
- Appear in front of the camera for reels, videos, behind-the-scenes content, and other social media content when required.
- Confidently communicate and present ideas in front of the camera.
- Assist in creating engaging office, culture, and behind-the-scenes content for Inkcast Innovations.
- Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages.
- Assist in tracking content performance and basic platform insights.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, formats, and platform updates.
Requirements
- Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Camera-friendly and comfortable appearing and speaking in front of the camera.
- Confidence to participate in reels, videos, and other content shoots.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate content ideas.
- Awareness of current social media trends and viral content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other content creation tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and take initiative.
