Job Requirements:
Internal Inspections & Monitoring
Perform internal file inspections and engagement monitoring in accordance with firm methodology, professional standards, and SOQM requirements
Document inspection findings clearly, accurately, and objectively, including identification of root causes and contributing factors
Assess compliance with firm policies, audit methodology, and applicable professional standards (GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB)
System of Quality Management (SOQM)
Support ongoing monitoring activities related to the firm’s system of quality management
Assist with evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of quality controls
Contribute to periodic risk assessments, monitoring plans, and reporting related to SOQM PCAOB Inspections & Regulatory Support
Assist with PCAOB inspection readiness activities, including profile preparation, internal reviews, and coordination with engagement teams
Support PCAOB inspection fieldwork, requests, and follow-up activities as directed by Inspections & Monitoring leadership
Assist with preparation of PCAOB-related reporting, analysis, and internal communications
Remediation & Root Cause Analysis
Perform root cause analysis for inspection findings and identified deficiencies
Support development, tracking, and evaluation of remediation plans
Monitor remediation progress and assess effectiveness of corrective actions
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience in a public accounting firm
Prior experience in audit quality, inspections, professional practice, or regulatory support strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of: PCAOB standards and inspection processes, U.S. GAAP and GAAS, and Audit documentation and engagement risk assessment
Experience supporting or responding to PCAOB inspections is highly desirable
Sound professional judgment and demonstrated professional skepticism
Ability to analyze complex audit issues and identify root causes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and engagement teams
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and quality-focused
Willingness to work with U.S. time zones as required
