We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager – Government Business to lead our business development initiatives within the government sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, particularly in system integration and government procurement processes, and be passionate about driving growth in public sector verticals such as defence, military, and public safety.
- Should be highly skilled in managing and navigating the complexities of government procurement processes, understanding RFPs, and building strong relationships with government clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key stakeholders.
- Perform market research to identify B2B opportunities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Driving lead generation efforts and new client acquisition through various channels.
- Creating pitches and proposals including requirements gathering for successful conversion of leads.
- Understanding and analysing business technical requirements from clients.
- Conducting introductory calls and following up with clients both online and offline.
- Responsible for Revenue generation from the Government Sales vertical.
- Nurturing leads and follow-ups.
- 10+ years of experience in IT sales or system integration, focused on government clients.
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, government procurement, and public sector operations.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about business development.
