We’re looking for a Senior Accountant with strong practical accounting knowledge who can take ownership of accounting activities and work confidently with clients and accounting software.
What You’ll Do
* Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
* Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Maintain ledgers and accurate financial records
* Perform bank and account reconciliations
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports
* Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
* Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities
* Review accounting entries and resolve discrepancies
* Work with accounting software and support software implementation
* Assist and train clients with accounting software and related queries
* Travel to client locations for software implementation, training, and support when required
* Coordinate with internal teams and clients for smooth implementation and support
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows
What We’re Looking For
* 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
* Experience in a CA firm / Chartered Accountant firm is preferred
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial statements
* Practical knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
* Good understanding of GST and TDS
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Good communication and client-handling skills
* Comfortable with software implementation, training, and client support
* Willingness to travel to client locations when required
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ownership
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
