Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors required for interior fit-out projects. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand material and service requirements.
- Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.
- Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations.
- Cost Management:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost control without compromising quality.
- Material Sourcing:
- Source high-quality materials, including furniture, fixtures, and fittings (FF&E), finishes, and construction supplies.
- Ensure materials comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Logistics and Delivery:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or shortages.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and the design team to align procurement activities with project needs.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status and address any challenges proactively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 -15 yrs experience in procurement, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of materials and finishes used in interior fit-outs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
