seeking a highly skilled and patient-centric Consultant Neurologist to strengthen our Department of Neurosciences. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of neurological disorders. We are looking for a clinician dedicated to providing high-quality care, whether in the outpatient setting, the inpatient ward, or the neuro-ICU.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment: Diagnose and manage complex neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and neuro-infections.
- Diagnostics: Perform and interpret neuro-diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG/NCS, VEP/BAER, and carotid Doppler studies.
- Emergency Management: Lead the stroke management team, including the administration of thrombolytic therapy, and provide expert care in the Neuro-ICU.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work in close coordination with Neurosurgeons, Intensivists, and Radiologists to provide holistic care for acute neurological emergencies.
- Patient Education: Provide clear communication and long-term care planning for patients and their families managing chronic neurological conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS + MD (General Medicine) + DM in Neurology (or DrNB / equivalent superspecialization).
- Experience: clinical experience in a tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Proficiency in neuro-diagnostics, critical neurological care, and a compassionate approach to patient management.
