Skills and Experience Required
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Expert in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP Ingestion tools, including Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, GCS, etc.
- Expertise in data modeling methodologies (e.g., Dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault) and designing optimized data forms (schemas) for analytical platforms like BigQuery.
- Hands-on programming skills using SQL, Python, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Unix/C/C#Scripting tools.
- Basic skills in software design & development using RDBMS.
- Interpreting data models, relationships, data lineage & database connectivity details.
- Proven expertise with Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, including extensive implementation experiences.
- Deep experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling for large databases
- Understanding of data management practices such as data integration, master data management, metadat a management, data quality management, security/privacy, and data modeling.
- Strong consultative and communication skills.
- Certified professional(preferrable).
- Experienced in working in a customer-facing role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
- Build and optimize BigQuery datasets, tables, views, and SQL queries for analytics and reporting
- Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Functions
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms
