Job Overview
We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, compliance, audits, and financial management for our port and commodity-based operations (fuel, diesel, salt, coal, etc.). The role requires strong ownership, hands-on execution, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions.
Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and working capital
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ledgers
2. Banking & Treasury
- Handle bank reconciliations and daily banking transactions
- Coordinate with banks for limits, loans, and documentation
- Monitor interest, charges, and optimize banking operations
3. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory regulations
- Manage filings, returns, and payments
- Handle notices and coordinate with consultants
4. Audit & Controls
- Manage internal and statutory audits
- Implement financial controls and risk management practices
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure
5. Inventory & Operations Support
- Oversee stock reconciliation (fuel, diesel, salt, coal, etc.)
- Support operational audits and inventory tracking
- Work closely with operations and warehouse teams
6. FEMA & International Transactions
- Handle foreign remittances and international payments
- Ensure compliance with FEMA and RBI regulations
7. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants
- Ensure timely follow-ups and task completion
- Support management with financial insights
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance
- Experience in logistics, port, commodity, or similar industries preferred
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
