We are looking for a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations of our newly opening restaurant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in authentic pizza and pasta preparation, menu development, food quality control, and kitchen management. The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee the production of high-quality pizzas, pasta dishes, and other menu items.
- Develop and standardize recipes to maintain consistency and food quality.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Ensure proper food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate with management for menu planning and seasonal specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during service hours.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen expenses.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Pizza/Pasta Chef.
- Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, baking techniques, pasta making, and Italian cuisine.
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations independently.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
