Software Trainer
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Software Trainer to design and deliver engaging training programs for employees, customers, or partners. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex software concepts into practical, easy-to-understand training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver software training sessions, both online and in person.
- Create training materials, including user guides, presentations, videos, and assessments.
- Train new users on software features, workflows, and best practices.
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback to improve knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to stay updated on software enhancements.
- Conduct onboarding and refresher training programs.
- Answer trainee questions and provide post-training support.
- Maintain training records and prepare reports on training effectiveness.
- Continuously improve training content based on user feedback and product updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in software training, technical training, or a similar role.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online training platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of instructional design principles.
- Familiarity with screen recording and content creation tools.
- Experience conducting virtual training sessions using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
- Basic understanding of databases, cloud applications, or enterprise software.
- Certifications in training or instructional design are an advantage.
