Enabuild Home Appliance Manufacturing Pvt Ltd looking for an experienced and hands-on Press Shop In-Charge to lead our sheet metal press shop operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the shop floor and can take ownership of production, tooling, machine maintenance, quality, and process discipline.
As we are a growing manufacturing company, the selected candidate will play a key role in establishing robust manufacturing practices while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Operations
- Plan and supervise day-to-day press shop production activities.
Tool Setting & Press Operations
- Perform and supervise die/tool setting for hydraulic and mechanical presses.
- Ensure proper first-off inspection before commencing production.
- Optimize press parameters for productivity and quality.
- Troubleshoot tooling and process-related issues on the shop floor.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all press shop equipment. Work closely with maintenance technicians for repairs and improvements
Quality Assurance
- Ensure production conforms to customer drawings and specifications.
- Conduct first-piece approval and periodic process inspections.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and process variation.
Documentation & Process Control
- Ensure proper documentation of work instructions, setup sheets, and inspection records.
Machines & Equipment
Experience in operating and supervising production on:
- Hydraulic Presses (100T–200T)
- Mechanical Power Presses
- Conventional Sheet Metal Machines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or shop in-charge role.
- Experience in low- to medium-volume manufacturing is preferred.
