Kinetic Learning is looking for a detail-oriented intern to help us build interactive, offline-capable eBook readers for our educational content. You'll take a chapter PDF and turn it into a self- contained, browser-based reading experience complete with quizzes, audio, video, and flashcards layered directly on top of the page images. This is not app development and doesn't require framework knowledge. You'll be working from an existing, proven template reproducing its structure with new content, not building from scratch.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Duplicating a template project folder and preparing it for a new chapter Exporting PDF pages as high-resolution page images Wiring up pages, metadata, and a table of contents in the reader's structured data file Authoring quiz/activity content (multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, drag-and-drop, open response) and placing interactive "hotspots" precisely on the page images Adding narration audio, video clips, or flashcard sets where needed Testing the finished reader end-to-end in a browser before delivery Packaging the final project as a zip - no servers, hosting, or installs involved
