Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join our growing startup. In this role, you will assist with planning and executing our digital marketing strategies. You will gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, SEO, and market research. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and build your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media profiles (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook). Draft and schedule posts using automation tools.
- Content Creation: Help create engaging blog posts, social media captions, and email newsletters. Design basic graphics for social media using [e.g., Canva/Photoshop].
- SEO Support: Assist with keyword research and on-page optimization to improve our website’s search engine ranking.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social channels and respond to comments/messages to foster community interaction.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic) and help prepare weekly/monthly reports using Google Analytics.
- Market Research: Research industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate in a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of major social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Basic knowledge of video editing (for Reels/Shorts).
- Certifications from Google (Digital Garage/Analytics) or HubSpot.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
