Job Summary:
Flavorarc Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Chef to lead kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation. The candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and optimizing food production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Plan and develop menus in coordination with management
- Monitor food production to meet quality and quantity targets
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines)
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers
- Manage inventory, stock control, and minimize wastage
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials (FIFO method)
- Conduct regular quality checks of ingredients and finished products
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely availability of materials
- Handle customer feedback related to food quality and implement improvements
- Ensure timely delivery of orders during peak hours
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef with minimum 3+ years in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in multi-cuisine or cloud kitchen operations
- Knowledge of cost control and kitchen budgeting
- Ability to train and develop junior staff
