Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented E&M Coding Specialist to lead our coding team in ensuring accurate and compliant medical coding practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding, possess leadership capabilities, and stay current with industry regulations. This role offers an opportunity to oversee coding operations, improve accuracy, and support the organization’s compliance efforts within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the E&M coding team to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records.
- Develop and implement coding policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits of coded records to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Provide ongoing training and education to coding staff to maintain high levels of proficiency and knowledge of current coding updates.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, billing departments, and compliance teams to resolve complex coding issues.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports on coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance.
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and industry trends to ensure organizational adherence.
Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification required; leadership or management certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in medical coding with a focus on Evaluation & Management (E&M) services.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of coders or billing professionals.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS Level II codes, and regulatory guidelines such as CMS policies.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.
- Ability to interpret complex medical records and translate clinical information into accurate codes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
