Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth day-to-day store functioning.
- Drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while achieving business targets.
- Manage store P&L, budgeting, inventory control, shrinkage, and cost optimization.
- Ensure high standards of visual merchandising, product availability, pricing accuracy, and store presentation.
- Lead, coach, and develop department managers and store teams to achieve performance goals.
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, footfall, conversion, basket size, and implement strategies to improve productivity.
- Ensure effective stock replenishment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving customer concerns and maintaining a customer-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory regulations, health & safety, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and Finance teams to execute business initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Required Skills
✔ Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead large retail teams.
✔ Proven experience in store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and commercial performance.
✔ Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales analysis, budgeting, shrinkage control, and profit optimization.
✔ Excellent communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
✔ Proficiency in retail ERP/POS systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and business analysis.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, Retail Chains, FMCG, Cash & Carry, or Large Format Retail are highly encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
