I. Key Responsibilities
1.Clinical Assessment & Treatment
a. Conduct comprehensive assessments of beneficiaries’ physical conditions.
b. Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans.
c. Engage in Magneto Therapy (PMFT) and Hydrotherapy sessions for residents regularly on need basis
d. Establish individualized goals and monitor achievement through structured interventions.
2.Rehabilitation Monitoring
a. Perform pre-admission assessments to evaluate rehabilitation suitability.
b. Regularly review progress and update treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
3. Research & Outreach
a. Support physiotherapy-related research activities and community outreach programs.
b. Engage and support Urodynamic study and further explore the possibility of devising Urodynamic as a Therapy for the Residents.
c. Contribute to knowledge-building in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
4.Therapy Equipment & Training
a. Operate and integrate new therapy equipment and treatment protocols effectively.
b. Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
5.Documentation & Compliance
a. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and reports.
b. Adhere strictly to institutional policies, ethical standards, and rehabilitation protocols.
c. Maintain and update service entries of Therapy sessions conducted for the residents daily.
6.Orthotics & Assistive Technology
a. Develop working knowledge of orthotic and assistive devices.
b. Coordinate with specialists to ensure beneficiaries receive appropriate mobility aids.
c. Beneficiary Education
d. Educate beneficiaries to achieve independence across physical, psychological, and socio-economic domains.
e. Encourage a dignified and purpose-driven approach to rehabilitation.
7.Institutional Support
a. Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive work environment.
b. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
