ITI Fitter – Job Description
Location: Vasai, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Number of Openings: 3
Qualification: ITI / 10th / 12th
Experience: Freshers to 2 years preferred; experienced candidates are also welcome
Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for machine component fitting, mechanical assembly, inspection, alignment, and supporting machine trials and workshop activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit machine components as per engineering drawings.
- Perform drilling, tapping, alignment, and mechanical assembly operations.
- Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and dimensions.
- Inspect and measure components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Support machine trials, testing, installation, and workshop activities.
- Maintain required quality standards during fitting and assembly work.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Properly maintain and handle tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of fitting and mechanical assembly operations.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and basic measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of drilling, tapping, alignment, and fitting work.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Freshers with relevant ITI training are encouraged to apply.
