Job Summary:
Zaron Metal Section is looking for an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our metal fabrication/processing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing workflow, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety protocols, and leading a team of workers to meet production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the metal section staff
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the production process
- Enforce workplace safety rules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Train, guide, and mentor workers to improve performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of production, materials, and manpower
- Coordinate with management regarding material requirements, machine maintenance, and workflow issues
- Identify and resolve operational problems on the production floor
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of machinery and tools
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on production output and workforce attendance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor in a metal works, fabrication, or manufacturing unit
- Strong knowledge of metal processing/fabrication techniques
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication skills
- Diploma/ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred
