Job Opening: Production Manager – Sweets & Savouries
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee the production operations of our Sweets and Savouries departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, maintaining product quality, and coordinating seamlessly with various teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans based on demand and ensure timely dispatch of products to the appropriate stores.
- Coordinate closely with Store Managers to monitor inventory levels and plan production accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with the Factory Manager to ensure smooth execution of production schedules.
- Maintain, standardise, and document production recipes, including the development and implementation of new recipes.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety, and product quality are consistently maintained across the production facility.
- Plan and oversee factory cleaning schedules, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Train, guide, and educate production staff on best practices, quality standards, hygiene, and operational procedures whenever required.
- Handle all day-to-day production management activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production management systems/ERP software will be an added advantage.
- Prepare regular production reports and provide updates to the management team on operational performance, productivity, and key issues.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in managing food production, preferably in sweets and savouries manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
