Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled MATLAB Programmer to develop, test, simulate, and optimize engineering applications using MATLAB and related tools. The ideal candidate should have strong programming and analytical skills and be comfortable working with MATLAB/Simulink for modelling, simulation, data analysis, and algorithm development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications, algorithms, and simulation models using MATLAB.
- Design and implement mathematical and engineering models using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Develop, test, debug, and optimize MATLAB code.
- Perform data analysis, numerical computations, and visualization.
- Convert engineering requirements into MATLAB-based solutions.
- Develop and validate algorithms for simulation and real-world applications.
- Perform model testing, verification, and validation.
- Analyze simulation results and prepare technical reports/documentation.
- Integrate MATLAB models with other software or engineering tools when required.
- Collaborate with software, embedded, mechanical, electrical, and R&D teams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve existing models and algorithms.
- Follow coding standards, development processes, and project timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB programming.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Good understanding of programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Knowledge of numerical methods, mathematical modelling, and data analysis.
- Experience with debugging and performance optimization.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Python/C/C++ is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in MATLAB-based software development, simulation, modelling, or algorithm development.
- Candidates with experience in automotive, embedded systems, control systems, signal processing, image processing, or data analytics will be preferred.
