Food production Faculty
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Production Faculty member to join our Hotel Management department. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, industry exposure, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students in culinary theory and practical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and conduct practical classes in Food Production (Indian, Continental, Bakery & Confectionery, etc.) as per the academic schedule.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and lab demonstrations aligned with the syllabus.
- Guide students on hygiene, kitchen safety, and modern kitchen equipment usage.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical assessments, and exams.
- Organize culinary workshops, live demonstrations, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
- Mentor and guide students on academic and career development.
- Contribute to curriculum development, industry interaction, and accreditation processes.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of kitchen labs and inventory.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional events.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of industry experience in Food Production in star hotels/cruise lines.
- Prior teaching or training experience in a reputed hospitality institute will be an advantage.
