Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of panels, breakers, lighting, and wiring to identify hazards or wear before failures occur.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices (multimeters, ohmmeters) and safely replace or repair defective components.
- Installations: Wire and install new electrical apparatuses, fixtures, and control systems according to industrial and local safety codes.
- Emergency Response: Act quickly to resolve unexpected power outages or equipment breakdowns, minimizing facility downtime.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of completed repairs, inspections, and parts inventory. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Licensing: High school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by vocational training, an associate's degree in electrical technology, or a valid Journeyman/Master Electrician license.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights, and lift heavy materials.
- Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and rigorous use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
