Role Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate PGT Chemistry teacher to handle senior secondary classes (Grades XI & XII) under the CBSE curriculum. The role involves building strong conceptual understanding, conducting practical laboratory sessions, and preparing students effectively for board examinations and higher studies.
This is a multi-campus role, where the teacher will rotate between three campuses—primarily stationed at one location for 4 days a week and 1 day each at the other two campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to Grades XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum
- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical laboratory sessions
- Prepare lesson plans, laboratory activities, assignments, and assessment materials
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and scientific temperament
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, practical assessments, and evaluations
- Support students through doubt-clearing sessions and academic mentoring
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance examinations where applicable
- Maintain laboratory records, student performance reports, and academic documentation
- Participate in parent interactions and academic review meetings
- Coordinate across campuses to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and assessment standards
- Contribute to academic planning, curriculum enrichment, and school initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (mandatory)
- B.Ed. (preferred / as per CBSE norms)
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary (XI & XII)
- Experience with CBSE curriculum is highly preferred
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and promote scientific inquiry
- Hands-on experience in conducting and supervising laboratory practicals
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills
- Effective communication skills (English mandatory; Kannada is an advantage)
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom environments
- Ability to adapt across multiple campuses and student groups

- Willingness to travel between Hebbal, Jalahalli, and Yelahanka campuses
- Ability to maintain consistency in teaching quality across locations
