Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to teach and inspire students through vocal and instrumental music. The candidate will be responsible for planning engaging music lessons, preparing students for performances, and promoting musical creativity and appreciation among students.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct music classes for students of various age groups
- Teach vocal and/or instrumental music fundamentals
- Prepare students for school events, competitions, annual day, and cultural programs
- Develop lesson plans aligned with ICSE curriculum requirements
- Encourage creativity, rhythm, confidence, and stage performance skills
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents when required
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment
- Coordinate rehearsals, performances, and music-related activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school management for events and programs
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music / Music Education or equivalent
- Formal training in vocal or instrumental music preferred
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting is an advantage
- Knowledge of ICSE curriculum preferred
