Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage an outbound insurance sales process. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in end-to-end insurance sales operations, team management, performance optimization, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales productivity while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations of the outbound insurance sales process.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Team Leaders and Sales Executives to achieve business targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance, productivity, and conversion metrics.
- Develop strategies to improve lead conversion, revenue generation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and feedback meetings.
- Analyze sales MIS, prepare reports, and present business insights to management.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for process improvements and issue resolution.
- Handle escalations and ensure excellent customer experience.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in Insurance Sales Operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong exposure to end-to-end outbound insurance sales processes.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Good understanding of sales KPIs, MIS reporting, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, or General Insurance sales.
- Proven track record of managing large outbound sales teams.
- Experience working in a BPO/Contact Center environment will be an added advantage.
