OG Plaanet is a fast-growing solar EPC company committed to providing high-quality residential and commercial solar energy solutions. We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Solar Technical Sales Executive who can understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and convert inquiries into successful solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet prospective customers and conduct site visits for residential and commercial solar projects.
- Assess site feasibility, roof conditions, shading, and electrical infrastructure.
- Explain technical aspects of rooftop solar systems in a simple and convincing manner.
- Prepare system sizing, energy generation estimates, quotations, and proposals.
- Coordinate with the design, documentation, and installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Follow up with leads and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Maintain customer relationships throughout the sales and installation process.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Keep updated with government subsidy schemes, net metering policies, and industry trends.
- Ensure proper documentation and CRM updates for every lead.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge are welcome. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in solar sales or technical sales will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of rooftop solar systems, electrical components, and solar plant design.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and explain technical concepts to customers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic computer applications.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for site visits.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar Yojana and residential solar policies.
- Understanding of ACDB, DCDB, inverters, modules, earthing, and mounting structures.
- Strong negotiation and customer handling skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
