Freelance Video Editor – Regional Languages

About the Role
Branding Pioneers is looking for a Freelance Video Editor who can edit engaging, professional and social-media-ready videos in regional Indian languages, particularly for healthcare professionals, doctors and clinics.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of at least one or more regional languages and be comfortable editing videos where regional-language audio, subtitles, text overlays and cultural context are involved.
Regional Languages Preferred
Candidates with proficiency in any of the following languages are preferred:
- Hindi / Dogri – Jammu
- Hindi – Madhya Pradesh
- Gujarati – Gujarat
- Marathi – Maharashtra
- Tamil – Tamil Nadu
- Malayalam – Kerala
- Kannada – Karnataka
- Telugu – Andhra Pradesh / Telangana
- Bengali – West Bengal
- Odia – Odisha
- Assamese – Assam
Candidates who know multiple regional languages will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, Reels, YouTube videos and healthcare content.
- Edit regional-language videos while maintaining the correct context and meaning.
- Add subtitles, captions, text overlays, transitions, graphics and background music.
- Create engaging edits suitable for Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms.
- Ensure regional-language text and subtitles are accurate and properly formatted.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, branding and visual style.
- Understand client requirements and deliver videos within agreed timelines.
- Make revisions based on client/team feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor.
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social media video trends.
- Proficiency in at least one of the listed regional languages.
- Ability to understand spoken regional-language content and appropriately edit/subtitle it.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, transitions and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
