Production Shift Incharge (3 Vacancies)
Job Description
We are looking for Production Shift Incharges to join our manufacturing team in the Greater Chennai Area. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production activities during the shift.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Allocate work to operators and monitor their performance.
- Maintain product quality as per company standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Monitor machine utilization and reduce production downtime.
- Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage.
- Maintain production records and shift reports.
- Train and guide production operators.
- Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards.
- Ensure smooth shift handover to the next shift.
Qualifications
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.
- 8–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in supervising production teams.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and quality control.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to solve shop-floor issues and manage manpower.
- Willing to work in shifts.
