We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for our real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, sound knowledge of construction materials, and the ability to ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the procurement of construction materials, machinery, equipment, and other project-related requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Ensure all purchases meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor details, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with project, accounts, and store teams to streamline procurement activities.
- Track delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to avoid delays in project execution.
- Analyze market trends and material price fluctuations to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor performance evaluations for management review.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Perform any other procurement-related responsibilities assigned by the management to support business operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor sourcing, and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement for residential apartment or real estate projects will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
