Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to lead the floor operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in restaurant service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and service staff.
- Ensure smooth coordination between service, kitchen, and management teams.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Train and guide stewards and junior service staff.
- Monitor grooming, discipline, and attendance of the team.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in upselling menu items and improving guest satisfaction.
- Maintain service quality during peak hours and busy operations.
- Ensure billing accuracy and proper closing procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in restaurant service.
- Prior experience as Captain/Senior Steward preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and fast-paced environments.
- Well-groomed personality with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant SOPs is an advantage.
