Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Optical Line Terminal (OLT) Software Developer to design, develop, and integrate software solutions for OLT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in switch SDKs (Broadcom or equivalent) and proven experience in embedded software development with hardware integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Develop and maintain OLT software modules for telecom and networking applications.
- SDK Integration: Work with switch SDKs (Broadcom or other) to implement and optimize features.
- Hardware Integration: Integrate embedded software with hardware platforms, ensuring seamless performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with hardware and system engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Testing & Optimization: Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and validation of OLT software.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test plans.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Core Skills: Strong programming skills in C/C++ and embedded systems development.
- SDK Experience: Hands-on experience with switch SDKs (Broadcom or other).
- Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking protocols (Ethernet, GPON, XGS-PON, etc.).
- Integration: Experience in hardware-software integration and low-level driver development.
- OS/Kernel: Familiarity with Linux kernel, device drivers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with telecom systems, OLT/ONT platforms, or similar networking equipment.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
