Job SummaryWe are looking for a technically skilled Electrical & E-Bike Components Engineer / Technician with hands-on knowledge of electric bicycles and EV electrical systems.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding, testing, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and quality inspection of key e-bike components such as battery, motor, controller, charger, display, wiring harness, throttle, sensors, lights, switches and other electrical components.
Key Responsibilities1. Battery & BMSUnderstand lithium-ion battery systems used in e-bikes.
Handle battery installation, testing and troubleshooting.
Check battery voltage, charging performance and discharge performance.
Understand Battery Management System (BMS) functionality.
Identify battery-related faults and coordinate for repair/replacement.
Monitor battery quality, safety and performance.
2. MotorWork with BLDC hub motors and other e-bike motor systems.
Perform motor installation and testing.
Diagnose motor performance issues, abnormal noise and power-related problems.
Check motor wiring, connectors and phase/Hall sensor connections.
Assist in motor selection based on vehicle requirements.
3. Controller & Electrical SystemUnderstand e-bike controllers and their functions.
Troubleshoot controller-related issues.
Check controller wiring, connectors and electrical signals.
Configure or replace controllers when required.
Identify compatibility issues between battery, motor and controller.
4. Wiring & Electrical ComponentsInstall and inspect wiring harnesses.
Check connectors, switches, throttle, brake sensors, display and other electrical components.
Identify loose connections, short circuits and wiring faults.
Ensure proper routing and insulation of electrical wiring.
Maintain electrical wiring diagrams and component specifications.
5. Testing & Quality ControlConduct pre-delivery inspection of e-bikes.
Perform electrical and functional testing.
Check battery charging, motor operation, brakes, display and electrical accessories.
Conduct road tests to identify electrical or performance issues.
Maintain testing and inspection records.
6. Service & TroubleshootingDiagnose customer e-bike electrical complaints.
Troubleshoot battery, motor, controller and wiring issues.
Coordinate with the service team for repairs.
Provide technical support to sales and service teams.
Maintain records of recurring technical issues and solutions.
Support development and improvement of e-bike models.
Required SkillsStrong knowledge of E-Bike electrical systems.
Knowledge of Battery, BMS, BLDC Motor and Controller.
Basic knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology.
Understanding of electrical wiring and circuit diagrams.
Knowledge of multimeter and basic electrical testing equipment.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience in EV/e-bike service is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical components.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational QualificationDiploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile or related field.
Candidates with strong hands-on EV/e-bike experience may also be considered.

Salary: As per experience and technical expertise

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
