Job Overview
Walvekar Construction is hiring a Construction Site Safety Supervisor for an ongoing industrial project in Talegaon. This role is suitable for freshers with safety qualifications or candidates with up to 3 years of experience who want to build a career in construction safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site safety procedures and protocols
- Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Ensure strict PPE compliance across the site
- Identify hazards and take preventive and corrective actions
- Maintain safety reports, checklists, and incident records
- Support safety inductions and worker training
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors on safety practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in any field with Safety Certification (NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred)
- Basic understanding of construction and industrial safety norms
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk control
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Willingness to work full-time on-site
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Fresher with certification or up to 3 years of experience
- Exposure to industrial or factory projects is an advantage
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate to Talegaon
- Disciplined and proactive approach to site safety
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
