Job Summary
A Civil Engineer for a hospital project is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining construction activities to ensure the hospital infrastructure meets safety, healthcare standards, and functional requirements. The role involves coordination with architects, contractors, and healthcare planners to deliver a compliant and efficient medical facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee construction of hospital buildings and related infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety codes, and building standards.
- Review architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineers, and contractors.
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Manage project budgets, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Ensure proper implementation of infection control measures during construction (critical in hospitals).
- Prepare reports, cost estimates, and progress updates.
- Ensure structural safety and durability of hospital facilities.

Qualifications
