Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily shop-floor operations, manage a shift team and ensure production targets are achieved on time while maintaining required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily production schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Allocate manpower and machines efficiently across shifts.
- Monitor line performance and downtime and take corrective action.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety requirements on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance and stores teams for smooth production flow.
- Maintain production, rejection and productivity reports.
- Train and guide machine operators and line workers.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
Requirements
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience supervising a production team in a manufacturing unit.
- Working knowledge of production planning and shop-floor documentation.
- Basic understanding of quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen and root cause analysis.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
