Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Ethnic Designer with 5–8 years of experience in luxury ethnic or bridal wear. The ideal candidate should possess strong design sensibility, deep understanding of Indian textiles and embroidery techniques, and the ability to conceptualize and execute seasonal couture collections aligned with the brand aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop ethnic and couture collections including lehengas, sarees, gowns, shararas, and fusion wear.
Research fashion trends, fabrics, color stories, embroidery techniques, and silhouettes.
Create mood boards, sketches, CADs, and detailed design specifications.
Coordinate with karigars, embroidery units, sampling teams, and production departments.
Work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams for fabric and trims development.
Ensure timely completion of samples and collection launches.
Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, finishing, and garment construction.
Participate in fittings, corrections, and final approvals.
Contribute innovative ideas while maintaining the brand’s luxury aesthetic.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from a reputed institute.
5–8 years of relevant experience in designer ethnic wear or bridal couture.
Strong knowledge of Indian textiles, surface ornamentation, hand embroidery, and couture construction.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and fashion CADs.
Excellent sketching and conceptualization skills.
Strong understanding of luxury fashion trends and client preferences.
Ability to manage multiple collections and timelines efficiently.
Good communication and team coordination skills.
Preferred Background
Candidates from luxury couture labels, designer boutiques, bridal wear brands, or premium ethnic fashion houses will be preferred.
Location Details
The role is based at the brand’s flagship presence in Mehrauli, New Delhi.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
