Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- IMS experience is mandatory for this role.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe, IBM Db2, Job Control Language (JCL).
- Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and their integration with enterprise systems.
- Experience in designing and optimizing batch processing jobs and workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning in mainframe applications.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Shift timings - 12 PM to 10 PM
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
