Job Description: Medical Representative (MR)Role Overview
A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies, building strong relationships, and driving sales in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals regularly to promote products
- Explain product benefits, usage, and competitive advantages
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Organize medical camps, seminars, and promotional activities
- Collect market feedback and report competitor activities
- Maintain daily call reports and sales records
- Ensure availability of products in pharmacies and hospitals
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare industry
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships and trust
- Time management and territory planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc, B.Pharm, or any life sciences preferred)
- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of sales experience
Salary (India)
- ₹2–5 LPA (depending on company & experience)
- Incentives + travel allowance usually included

Pay: ₹9,357.74 - ₹35,000.00 per month
