1) Exceptional Creative Thinking: Develop original, innovative, and trend-relevant concepts for merchandise, with the ability to consistently generate fresh ideas that align with the brand's identity.
2) Strong Sketching & Illustration Skills: Demonstrate outstanding freehand sketching and illustration abilities, translating concepts into detailed, high-quality artwork with strong attention to composition, anatomy, and design principles.
3) Design Software Proficiency: Be highly proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Procreate (or equivalent), with the ability to create production-ready artwork.
4) Original Artwork Only: Create 100% original illustrations without the use of AI-generated artwork or AI-assisted design tools. A strong portfolio showcasing authentic creative work is mandatory.
5) Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with the merchandising, product, and marketing teams to develop illustrations that are commercially appealing, production-feasible, and delivered within project timelines while maintaining high creative standards.
