Job Summary
Toddlers Early Years Centre is hiring passionate, caring and energetic Day Care / Crèche Teachers to support children in a safe, warm and structured environment.
The centre follows defined routines, child-care practices and activity plans. The candidate must be willing to learn, follow and implement the centre’s systems with care and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Follow the centre’s day care routines, activity plans and child-care practices.
- Supervise children during day care hours with complete attention and care.
- Manage meal time, nap time, play time, washroom routines and dispersal.
- Engage children through stories, rhymes, free play, art, craft and simple activities.
- Create a loving, affectionate and emotionally comfortable day care environment.
- Ensure child safety, hygiene, comfort and emotional well-being at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe and child-friendly day care space.
- Observe children and report health, behaviour or safety concerns to the Centre Head.
- Communicate child updates professionally when required.
- Follow all child protection, safety and hygiene protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in day care, crèche, preschool or early childhood care is required.
- NTT / Montessori / ECCE qualification preferred.
- Passion for working with young children.
- Good communication skills.
- High energy levels and active child engagement ability.
- Loving, affectionate, patient, alert and responsible.
- Ability to manage young children calmly and professionally.
- Must be open to learning, training, feedback and following centre systems.
- Must be punctual, well-groomed and reliable.
Important Expectations
No negligence in child supervision. No shouting, punishment, threatening, shaming or harsh behaviour with children. Child safety and care are non-negotiable.
