As Purchasing Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver efficient and reliable solutions, contributing to TORM’s success in the global shipping industry.
Your Role: Make an Impact
In this role, you will be part of our Purchase and Logistics team spread across Manila, Mumbai, London, Houston, and Copenhagen. You will work closely with purchasers, suppliers, vessel managers, and internal stakeholders to improve standardization, compliance, and purchasing efficiency across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, and govern the stores catalog and purchasing master data.
- Create and maintain standardized template requisitions for recurring vessel requirements, annual surveys, and projects.
- Manage restricted-item catalogs to ensure compliance for safety-critical purchases.
- Support Sertica development, testing, and continuous system improvements.
- Maintain catalog structure, data quality, classifications, and standardization.
- Upload, validate, and maintain contracted supplier pricing.
- Monitor price developments and provide purchasing statistics and reporting.
- Drive catalog optimization to improve purchasing efficiency, automation, and compliance.
- Support data cleansing, enrichment, and lifecycle management of procurement content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve purchasing processes and standardization.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Purchasing Systems Specialist to support and strengthen operations through effective management of catalog content, master data, pricing structures, and system development.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 5–8 years of experience in purchasing systems and operations.
- Hands-on experience in catalog management and master data maintenance.
- Strong experience supporting ERP systems, particularly purchasing-related modules.
- Expertise in purchasing data management, including data accuracy and governance.
- Good understanding of supply chain operations, purchasing workflows, and process improvements.
