About the Role
Truffle Nation Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Chef Instructor – Baking & Patisserie to join our team at our Saket campus. The ideal candidate should possess strong baking and pastry skills along with teaching experience to guide and mentor aspiring bakers and pastry chefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theory classes in Baking & Patisserie.
- Demonstrate baking techniques, pastry preparation, cake decoration, and dessert production.
- Assist in lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards are maintained.
- Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials required for classes.
- Support workshops, demonstrations, and student assessments.
- Maintain inventory and proper use of baking equipment and ingredients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Baking & Patisserie from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 6-12 months of teaching experience in a culinary institute, baking school, or hospitality training center.
- Strong knowledge of breads, cakes, pastries, desserts, and confectionery production.
- Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in artisanal breads, cake decoration, chocolate work, and plated desserts.
- Knowledge of modern baking trends and industry practices.
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
