Job Summary
International Delhi Public School, Gorantla (Kadiri Road), Sri Sathya Sai District, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary English Teacher to teach Classes I–V under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong language proficiency and the ability to develop foundational reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials.
- Strengthen students’ phonics, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Encourage communication skills through storytelling, role-plays, conversations, and creative writing activities.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain academic records.
- Provide individual attention and remedial support where required.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Participate in school activities, assemblies, competitions, and events.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or relevant subject
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (Primary level preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices
