Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated PGT Physics Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Grades 11–12). The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to deliver engaging and concept-driven lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive and engaging Physics lessons in accordance with curriculum objectives and educational standards.
Create a positive and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that promotes conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Use a variety of instructional strategies, including numerical problem-solving, demonstrations, simulations, and real-world applications, to cater to diverse learning needs.
Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments and practical sessions to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop students’ experimental skills.
Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams (JEE/NEET foundation level) with a focus on conceptual clarity and application-based learning.
Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, quizzes, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, and ensure timely reporting.
Integrate technology and digital tools such as simulations, virtual labs, and smart boards to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
Collaborate with academic staff in curriculum planning, exam setting, and performance analysis to improve student outcomes.
Encourage participation in science projects, Olympiads, and exhibitions to foster curiosity and innovation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
1–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred.
Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in Physics concepts.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
