Role Summary
We are hiring an E-commerce Operations & Systems Executive to manage end-to-end e-commerce operations for
Woollen House. The person will handle daily orders, dispatch, returns, product listings and basic inventory coordination.
Along with this, the person will also help create SOPs, training checklists and audit checklists for Woollen House and
other group businesses.
This role is not only a packing or dispatch role. We need someone who can work fast, avoid mistakes, use computers
properly, document work clearly and help build better systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce Order Operations
- Process daily online orders correctly and on time.
- Pick, check, pack and dispatch orders with proper care.
- Make sure yarn colours, quantities, variants and SKUs are not mixed up.
- Generate invoices, shipping labels and tracking details.
- Coordinate with courier / shipping partners when needed.
- Maintain clean packing standards and reduce damage or wrong dispatches.
2. Returns, Exchanges and Order Issues
- Handle customer returns and exchanges as per company process.
- Inspect returned products and update whether they can be restocked.
- Record return reasons and repeated issues.
- Coordinate with the team for wrong item, damaged item, missing item or delivery issues.
3. Product Listings and Catalog Work
- Create and update product listings on Shopify and other platforms if required.
- Update product names, descriptions, prices, images, variants and stock details.
- Check listings for spelling errors, wrong prices, wrong images or missing information.
- Maintain clean product data for yarn colours, weight, material, needle size, category and other product details.
4. Inventory Coordination
- Track stock used for online orders.
- Report low stock, stock mismatch and fast-moving products.
- Keep dispatch area and stock area organised.
- Help with basic stock checks when required.
5. SOP, Training and Audit Support
- Create simple SOPs for repeated tasks such as order dispatch, returns, product listing, packing and inventory
checks.
- Make daily, weekly and monthly checklists for operations.
- Create simple training material for new team members.
- Help prepare audit checklists for Woollen House, CIY and Makist processes.
- Check whether tasks are being done as per the checklist and report gaps.
- Find repeated mistakes and suggest practical improvements.
Required Skills
- Good computer skills: Google Sheets, email, browser and basic online tools.
- Ability to work with Shopify or learn it quickly.
- High attention to detail, especially for colours, variants, quantities and prices.
- Basic written English for listings, checklists and simple documentation.
- Fast, organised and clean working style.
- Comfortable using AI tools for writing SOPs, checklists and listing improvements.
Qualification
- Minimum: 12th pass.
- Preferred: Graduate in any stream.
- Must be comfortable using computers and online systems.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, dispatch, warehouse, catalog, product listings, retail operations
or similar work is preferred.
- Experience with Shopify, Shiprocket, Amazon, Flipkart or similar platforms will be a strong advantage.
- Freshers may be considered only if they are very sharp, disciplined, comfortable with computers and fast learners.
Success Measures
- Same-day dispatch for eligible orders.
- Very low packing and dispatch errors.
- Product listings updated correctly and on time.
- Returns and exchanges closed quickly and properly recorded.
- Stock issues reported daily.
- Useful SOPs, checklists and audit sheets created every month.
Pay: ₹9,738.47 - ₹19,000.00 per month
