Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Precast Finishing Engineer to oversee finishing activities, quality inspections, and production coordination in precast manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience in precast finishing works, quality control, and surface treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily casting, finishing, curing, and demoulding activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Ensure all precast components are produced according to shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect surface finishes and carry out defect rectification such as honeycombing and alignment corrections.
- Conduct post-demoulding quality checks and maintain quality compliance records.
- Identify and resolve production and finishing issues to improve efficiency and cycle times.
- Coordinate manpower, mould preparation, and raw material usage for smooth operations.
- Maintain production logs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Handle finishing-related activities including painting, tiling, and electrical works.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in precast manufacturing, finishing, or quality control.
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing processes and precast production.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
