The organisation provides crisis intervention, shelter, psychosocial support, legal and health referrals, economic empowerment, prevention work, and systems-level engagement. The HR Manager will play a key role in strengthening PCVC’s people systems, ensuring compliance, supporting staff wellbeing, and managing HR operations through Zoho People.
Job Summary
The Senior Officer – Finance & Compliance will oversee the organisation's financial operations, statutory compliance, donor financial management, and internal financial controls. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, donor compliance, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and strengthening financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts
Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP. Review accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Process vendor payments, reimbursements, statutory payments, and staff advances.
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
Monitor project-wise budgets and expenditure.
Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with FCRA, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, GST (where applicable), and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and file statutory returns.
Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
Ensure adherence to organisational financial policies.
Donor Finance Management
Prepare donor financial reports and utilisation certificates.
Monitor donor budgets, expenditure, and fund balances.
Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and grant agreements.
Support donor audits and financial reviews
Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate statutory, internal, donor, and FCRA audits.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
Implement audit recommendations.
Strengthen internal financial controls and maintain proper documentation.
Financial Systems

Required Qualifications & Experience -
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance and compliance, preferably in the NGO/development sector.
Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, FCRA, donor compliance, taxation, and audit processes.
Experience in donor-funded projects is preferred.
